When I started looking into wedding planners based in Hungary, I reached out to a few planners and asked them to send me a rough quote. I chose Nori because she was the only one to suggest that we chat initially before she put the quote together. We had a lovely chat on WhatsApp and I knew immediately that she was the one. If I did the whole thing again I would book Nori again in a heartbeat. Friendly, warm and very hardworking. She was very responsive on emails and WhatsApp and no request was too big. She was happy to guide me along whenever I needed her to and of course helped me arrange everything from the venue, hair and makeup to the cake, DJ, lighting, officiator, unity candles, gifts for the parents and even colouring books for the child guests. Nori and her team have great relationships with all the vendors and brought everything together on the day like true champions. They truly made planning my wedding and the day itself a dream and I would happily sing their praises all day long. My friends and family adored them. Nori is a genuine gem!

Last Saturday, I married the man who I love the most in the world, and we had a wedding with our family and friends. Everyone who attended the wedding told me that it was such an amazing night, and some of them said it was the best wedding they have ever attended.
However, the guests wouldn’t know that how much effort has been put on to present that night, and how much help we have received from all of you in organsing the wedding.

“We wholeheartedly recommend Nora for anyone who is trying to plan a wedding in Budapest. She’s professional, prompt in replying, speaks excellent English (which we found to be a challenge with some other planners we talked to), able to think on her feet to manage last minute challenges, and truly cares about making the day amazing for the couple.
My wife and I met in Budapest, so we really wanted to go back there to have our wedding, however, we faced the daunting task of trying to plan a wedding from thousands of miles away (we live in Hong Kong). Thank god we found Nora. She did such an amazing job helping us pull together the exact wedding we were hoping for. From the first time we dealt with her, she was comprehensive and professional, submitting several different proposals for us to choose from with varied pricing.
When we traveled to Budapest to plan the wedding, she set up all the meetings with venues, caterers, MCs, cake tasting, etc. and helped guide us through the whole process, taking an enormous strain off us. For each vendor she would typically provide us several choices to choose from with pros/cons of each, and was always open to our feedback while gently pushing back if she thought a different direction would lead to a better event for us. She also helped manage the budget for the wedding, and was willing to Skype with us several times to talk through schedules, planning, etc.
The day of the wedding, she helped manage paying all the different vendors, arranging shuttle pick-ups for guests, and ensuring all the vendors arrived on time / set-up the venues as instructed. She took care of all the little things like special dietary requests, delivering gift baskets, etc. so that my fiance and I were free to focus on more important items (like the vows! 🙂 and really enjoy the day. She even stayed until the party ended at 4:00AM (!!!) to ensure everything was packed up and everyone got home ok.”

“I am from the states and my now husband is from Pecs, Hungary. I love Hungary and knew it could offer me everything I ever wanted in my dream wedding. However, I did not speak Hungarian and my husband was very busy with work and could not really help with the wedding planning. That is when I found Nora. She is absolutely the best. All I did was tell her what I was looking for and she brought me 3 to 4 options in each category (examples: DJ, MC, Photographers) and she gave me all their prices and let me choose who I liked the most. It was as easy as that. She also help to coordinate getting 30 Americans to the wedding. She helped with shuttle transfers and making sure all their needs were met while they were there so I did not need to be bothered with anything other than just enjoying my wedding day. The day of the wedding, I just focused on myself and family and she took care of the rest. Everyone was shocked how relaxed I was during the entire wedding process. My wedding would have not been the same without Nora. Whatever you want or need–she can do. I would recommend her to anyone looking to have a wedding in Hungary.!”
